Jason Clary is the creative genius behind Cellar Door Creative, and what a genius he is! When Kristen reached out with the desire to create a logo to capture the gestalt of Be The Boat, Jason jumped at the chance to help our fledgling group. We LOVE our new logo!
We gave Jason two images which represented our vision: one of a canoe Hunter made in high school and one of an Icelandic "peapod", a double-ended fishing boat. We envisioned - to the extent that activity can be conveyed in a 2D picture - an active boat, piloted by an unseen individual offering a boat of love to the suffering and afflicted. Color? We discussed Hunter green because, well, it captured Hunter's name (and he loved green given his Irish heritage). But nautical navy seemed right so we stuck with a blue and white combo, although we've also made it available in other colors since Hunter was a colorful guy!
Jason brought our vision to life. If you are in need of graphic design support, you won't find a more creative, spirited and funny person with whom to partner. Thanks Jason and thanks Cellar Door Creative!
