Wednesday Journal

The November 1, 2017 issue of the Wednesday Journal, our hyperlocal newspaper, included a pullout section on significant social issues in our community and beyond.  On behalf of our family, I was invited to speak with reporter Lacey Sikora about the issue of suicide, a most personal subject for us after Hunter’s death.  While I can’t speak to the cogency of my comments, we’re grateful to Lacey and the Journal for shining a light on this issue.

We are honored to have been asked to participate in the Journal’s Community of Caring issue.  The way forward is difficult but as always, we are so very indebted to the many who have walked with us on this journey.  We are blessed to have been the beneficiaries of visits, cards, texts, walks or companionable silence which have buoyed us beyond measure.
